This section contains our internal and external curtainside straps.

Overcenter straps are constructed using an overcenter buckle rather than a ratchet or cam buckle. Overcenter tie downs are a great solution for quick cinch applications. Overcenter buckles don’t ratchet tight, so they won’t create the same tension as a ratchet. However, they are frequently used to hold down tarping on the sides of trailers.

Curtainside bottom strap

• 1400daN (kg) black polyester(or polypropylene) webbing < 7% elongation @ LC

• Fitted with a combi hook to allow attachment to the chassis / side rave

• Manufactured labelled in accordance with EN 12195-2:2001

Fits all common overcentre buckles that accept 45mm or 50MM wide webbing. Foldover end allows the strap to be retro fitted while preventing accidental release from the buckle.

Cautions:

Never use lashing strap for lifting.

Never use overload.

Do not twist webbing.

Protect the webbing from sharp or abrasive edges.

Periodic inspect the ratchet strap to ensure the tie down or webbing in good condition, or replace it at once.
